New Non-Profit Purchasing Group Helps Keep Costs Down
An open letter to all NOZAsearch.com members.
As the founder of the Miracle League of San Diego, a non-profit that provides children with special needs the opportunity to play baseball in an organized league, I know how challenging it is to keep costs down and maintain the level of service that we provide to our constituents. From that experience, and from my experience as Chairman of the Board of the California Oncology Research Institute, I developed a keen understanding of the expense profile of a typical non-profit.
I recently formed the Non-Profit Purchasing Group to help non-profits save on their most commonly recurring expenses. We’ve negotiated discounts of 20% and more on key items such as office supplies, printing, payroll processing, merchant processing, email marketing, promotional products and more. Unlike other group purchasing organizations that make money by taking commissions, rebates or administrative fees from their vendor partners, we pass through 100% of the savings to our members. We therefore charge our members a nominal fee of $99 per year to join and access these savings.
