Veterans Day Remembrance

Our team at NOZA respectfully remember and honor the service and sacrifice of all veterans and their families.  We celebrate on 11/11 on the anniversary of the end of WWI (1918).  Many in our lives including our own NOZA co-founder David Ruehlman have served our country and fought for the freedoms we enjoy, and depend on, each day.  We are thinking of you, honorable veterans, and appreciate the opportunity to assist the nonprofits who serve veterans with fundraising research information and philanthropy data.

Here locally in Santa Barbara, we honor the legacy of fallen hero's of the current war in Iraq at Arlington West,  who write, "The first Sunday of November 2003, a group of local activists erected 340 wooden crosses on the beach immediately west of Stearns Wharf, marking the deaths of U.S. servicemen and women in Iraq." In 2006, that number was 3,000 wooden crosses on the beach each Sunday.  As some fight, others focus on peace.  With critical local, national and international issues facing us, we must work together to solve problems and never forget our local hero's who have come before and serve America today with honor.

We appreciate the many nonprofit organizations who provide essential programs and services to veterans and their families.  If this is your mission, you may search our database of charitable donations for your fundraising research.  Do a NOZAsearch for individuals, corporations and foundations who support veterans-related organization; search by cause with keyword 'veterans' or any branch of the U.S. military.
