NOZA Tips & Tricks Tuesday
Is their a way to look up funders within a county or region?
Yes. Use Search by Name, More Options and enter the Organization State and a Zip Code range for the region you are interested in. In your initial search, you can leave all other settings at their default, then refine preliminary results as needed.
Tip: Looking at local or regional donation data is a good place to start for many nonprofit researchers. However, this will only show donations made to nonprofits located in the zip code range you enter. If you limit all of your searches to just those donations to local organizations, you may miss potential new donors.
And, don't forget to email me at support@nozasearch.com for next Tuesday's live training. Once I receive the first 15 participants, I will schedule the GoToMeeting and email you the details. If you were not one of the first 15, I will put you on the top of the list for the next week’s training and email you details.
