An excellent way to engage your organization in ethics and best-practice fundraising is to review the Association of Fundraising Professionals' Code of Ethics. If you are a member of the AFP, you will know that you have to sign off on this code-- but do you read or practice it daily? The AFP features an article by Barbara R. Levy, ACFRE, titled: AFP Code of Ethics: Guide, Law or Best Practice? It has great perspective on the code and using ethics in daily practice.
