NOZA Tips & Tricks Tuesday
How to do a “Search by Name” to get the most results
Try searching for first and last name, or just last name, and leave the city and state setting blank. Then refine your search based on the number of results that are returned for your search. This way, you will not miss donations to nonprofits that are based in locations outside of your area. Don’t forget to try different combinations of the first name (e.g. William or Bill).
Also, keep in mind that a search-by-name can alert you to a prospect's spouse's name and you can do a separate search-by-name to research his/her charitable giving history, as well.
And, don't forget to email me at support@nozasearch.com for next Tuesday's live training. Once I receive the first 15 participants, I will schedule the GoToMeeting and email you the details. If you were not one of the first 15, I will put you on the top of the list for the next week’s training and email you details.
